Love God, Love people, Tell the World.
This is what we are about as a church. This simple vision and process captures the two key scriptures we refer to as the great command and the great commission.
The great command was given by Jesus. Someone asked Jesus what is the greatest of all the commandments. In Mark 12:29 Jesus answered, “The foremost is, ‘Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord; 30 and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ 31 “The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” We have a passionate desire to help people love the Lord with everything they are. Not only did Jesus tell what the greatest command was but as He prepared to go back to His Father, Jesus gave His disciples and disciples today final instructions that we refer to as the great commission. Matthew 28: 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
As a church we believe these two great scriptures are the core of what we should be as a church. This process we call, “Love God, Love People, Tell the World”
